Managed People Solutions, a leading provider of innovative human resource solutions, is delighted to offer a comprehensive 6-month Learnership Programme to unemployed youth around the Alberton area. This dynamic and enriching opportunity is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills and hands-on experience to thrive as Junior Merchandisers.
Responsibilities:
As a Junior Merchandiser, the successful candidates will be entrusted with a wide range of duties that are crucial to the smooth operation and success of the organization. These responsibilities include:
- Determining stock requirements: Accurately assess the current stock levels and identify the necessary products to be merchandised, ensuring optimal inventory management.
- Stock quality assurance: Meticulously inspect the vintage, product quality, and stock rotation on the shelves, as well as verify the accuracy of price tags, to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Merchandising activities: Efficiently execute all merchandising tasks as outlined in the detailed cycle briefings, leveraging your creativity and attention to detail.
- Customer feedback and communication: Actively collect and report on any customer complaints, queries, or requests, while also communicating and updating your knowledge of the products and ongoing promotions.
- Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all merchandising activities, contributing to the overall transparency and accountability of the department.
- Call execution: Diligently follow the prescribed call cycle to ensure consistent and effective interactions with the relevant stakeholders.
- Inventory management: Provide valuable insights and advice to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) regarding out-of-stock products, enabling prompt replenishment and minimizing lost sales opportunities.
Requirements for this learnership:
To be eligible for this transformative Learnership Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Age: Between 18 and 28 years old
- Education: Successful completion of Grade 12, with a demonstrated proficiency in Mathematics and English
Duration of the Programme:
The Learnership Programme will span a duration of 6 months, commencing in August 2024 and concluding in January 2025. This immersive experience will provide participants with the opportunity to apply their knowledge, develop essential skills, and contribute to the growth and success of Managed People Solutions.
