OPERATIONAL:
The Sales Person job requires a person to serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner, ensuring that all customers are greeted, approached, and handled as per the 6 elements of selling. This is crucial to generate sales for the store and ensure that its targets are achieved.
Ensuring Excellent Customer Relations on the Retail Floor is a key responsibility. The Sales Person must demonstrate in-depth Product Knowledge and stay updated on the latest Trends in the industry. They will also be responsible for Testing Products to ensure quality and functionality before making them available to customers.
Maintaining Merchandise Standards and adhering to the Salespersons Certification program are essential. The Sales Person must also be well-versed with the Cash Crusaders Protocol to provide a seamless and consistent customer experience.
RETAIL FLOOR:
The Sales Person is responsible for effectively Managing the Retail Floor to achieve business goals and sustain the profitability of the store. This involves Retail Merchandising, which includes arranging and displaying products in an attractive and strategic manner to maximize sales.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Stock Management is another critical aspect, where the Sales Person must ensure that the store’s inventory is well-stocked and organized to meet customer demand. They must also be vigilant about Security and Shrinkage, taking measures to prevent and minimize any loss of inventory.
Maintaining Exceptional Customer Service on the Retail Floor and fostering a customer service-minded culture is a top priority. The Sales Person must Ensure Customer Expectations are Exceeded, going above and beyond to provide a memorable and satisfactory experience.
Participating in Mystery Shopper programs and striving for Retail Excellence will help the Sales Person identify areas for improvement and continuously enhance the customer experience. Additionally, the Sales Person should focus on Growing the Customer Base by building rapport, providing personalized recommendations, and encouraging repeat business.
OTHER:
The Sales Person must also demonstrate strong Teamwork and Leadership skills, as they may be required to guide and mentor junior team members. They should possess Business Acumen to make informed decisions and drive the store’s success.
Initiative and effective Communication Skills are essential, as the Sales Person will be the primary point of contact for customers and must be able to address their queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
